libavahi-compat-libdnssd-dev software package provides Development headers for the Avahi Apple Bonjour compatibility library, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libavahi-compat-libdnssd-dev
libavahi-compat-libdnssd-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libavahi-compat-libdnssd-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libavahi-compat-libdnssd-dev *
You will get with libavahi-compat-libdnssd-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
